Michael is the founder and Chairman of the Malaysian Association of Certified Coaches, the first and largest coaching organization in this region. He was also the founder and President of the ICF Chapter in Malaysia who brought the ICF brand of Coaching here.
He is an author of 4 best selling coaching books: Dialogue with the Executive Coach, Dialogue with the Sales Coach,
Dialogue with the Coach and Dialogue with the Life Coach to support anyone in any field of Coaching.
He is also a popular coaching columnist in both the local and international media and also a coach blogger who frequently shares his experiences in his ‘Stories That Coach’ blog.
Michael is an extraordinary coach who has earned his stripes through the ‘hard knocks’ that he has received over his 40 years of corporate life, where he rose from the ranks to become a top executive in many organizations across a number of industries.
Academically, Michael was also a former Adjunct Professor in Tourism with University Utara Malaysia. He holds a Doctorate and Masters in Hospitality & Tourism, a Business Management Degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Organizational Psychology from various UK Universities.
He lives by the life philosophy that ‘at the end of life it is not what you have achieved, but what you have become’.

Known as the living legend in the sports world, he is well known sports personality for his accomplishments in the field of sports as well in the medical field for his contributions to the health industry here.

In the field of sports, his accomplishments include: ‘Fastest Man in Asia’, ‘Flying Doctor’, first Malaysian Sportsman of the Year (1966), 1st Malaysian in the Olympic Semi-Final (Tokyo & Mexico) and ‘Holder of the Unbroken Record in the 200m Track’;
In the field of medicine, he is the holder of the National Science Award, a former Deputy Director-General in the Ministry of Heath, Founding Fellow in the Academy of Science and Head of the Bacteriology, Head of Laboratory Services;
Academically, he is was the Pro-Chancellor of University Sains Malaysia (USM) 2011.
